Listen back

Listen to your performance with the music, adjust the mix, and keep the parts you want.

Open a take

Select a take from the song’s list. The playback view shows your instrument and the music together. Press Space to play or pause, or move the playhead to another point.

Trim

Drag the handles at the start or end to shorten playback. Export uses the trim too. The original take remains intact, and Reset restores its full length.

Tone Off and ToneSwap

Use Tone Off to hear your instrument without Afinar’s effects, or switch back to your recorded tone. Use ToneSwap to try different amps and effects on the same take.

Mix

Use the instrument and music faders to adjust their balance. Bring your part forward to hear a detail, or lower it to hear how it fits with the song.

Keep the good ones

Star your best takes to find them again. You can also mark a song Nailed when you’re happy with it.

Export

For takes made with an imported audio recording, export a mixed audio file or save your instrument and the music separately for use in recording software. You can also export your unprocessed instrument signal.
