What Afinar collects, who holds it, and how we keep it safe.
Purchases are not available yet. Payment-related information on this page will be updated before sales open.
Imported scores, saved takes, and the tones you build are stored on your Mac. Websites you open inside Afinar use their own services and privacy policies.
While you’re in the beta, Afinar shares with us how you use it and any errors it hits, tied to your invitation, so we can see what works and help us fix what breaks. It will never send us your song titles, your audio, or your takes. You can always turn this off in Settings.
Afinar also sends crash reports, and it checks for updates. Afinar never sends your scores or recordings.
This goes to our own server. No other company holds it.
If you email support, we receive your address, message, and any attachments you send so we can respond to your request.
If you apply for beta testing, we use the name, email address, instrument, and note you give us to review your request and contact you about testing. If you ask for a launch notification, we use your email address to send that notification. You can choose either or both, and ask us to stop by writing to support@afinar.app.
When you sign up for the beta on this site, your name, email address, instrument, note, and which page you signed up from go to our own server. We use Brevo to send your invitation email, and to people who sign up on the Guitar Summit page, a confirmation when they sign up and a note when Afinar launches. Brevo also runs our launch-updates form, and the backup signup form your browser is offered if it cannot run ours. Requests made through Brevo require email confirmation before being added to our signup lists. See Brevo’s privacy policy for information about its processing. Brevo records when these emails are opened and their links clicked.
Visits to this website, counted by Cloudflare’s own analytics, so we know which places are worth telling people about Afinar in. No cookie is set, no profile is built, and individual visitors are not identified.
If you use the website’s support chat, your messages are sent to Anthropic to generate a reply.
No payment provider is currently being offered for Afinar purchases. We will publish the provider and purchase-related data handling before purchasing becomes available.
You can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, by writing to support@afinar.app. If you are in the European Union you may also complain to your national data protection authority; in Spain that is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos.
