Afinar is in beta

Afinar works, and people use it to practice every day. It is also still changing, so expect rough edges, features that move, and the occasional thing that breaks. If something goes wrong, write to support@afinar.app. It is read by the person who made Afinar.

Ways to use Afinar

A free beta year. If you joined the beta by invitation, or signed up at Guitar Summit 2026, your first year of Afinar is free. Nothing to pay and no card to give. Your free year is personal to you, and it runs for the period stated in your invitation.

A free trial. If you install Afinar without an invitation, it runs with everything switched on for fourteen days, or until 30 November 2026, whichever is later. When the trial ends, recording and saving new takes stop. Everything you already made stays yours: you can open it, listen to it, and export it whenever you like. Nothing is deleted.

The yearly plan. After the beta, Afinar is one plan: US$39.99 or €39.99 a year, everything included. There are no tiers and no features held back. The price is the same number in each currency and is not converted. Dollar prices have any sales tax added at checkout. Euro prices already include VAT. Elsewhere, the price is converted at checkout and you see the total before you pay.

The yearly plan is not on sale yet. Before it is, this page will say who handles the payment, how you cancel, and what happens when a paid year ends. Nothing on this page commits you to paying for anything.

Using it on your Macs

Use Afinar on the Macs you own. There’s no device count and nothing to deactivate.

What stays yours

Everything you make with Afinar belongs to you: your recordings, your takes, your videos, the tones you build, and the scores you bring in. It all lives on your Mac. We claim nothing over any of it, and your recordings and scores are never sent to us.

While you’re in the beta, Afinar shares how you use it and any errors it hits, tied to your invitation. It never sends your song titles, your audio, or your takes, and you can turn it off in Settings. The privacy page sets out exactly what the beta collects.

Other people’s material

Afinar lets you practice with music, scores, and lessons that belong to other people, including pages you open inside the app. You’re responsible for having the right to use what you bring in. Afinar doesn’t supply music, and it doesn’t give you any rights over material that isn’t yours.

What we don’t promise

Afinar is provided as it is, and during the beta that matters more than usual. It’s built carefully and tested hard, but no software is perfect, and we can’t promise it will suit every purpose or work with every audio interface. Keep your own copies of anything you care about.

Nothing here takes away the rights you have as a consumer under Spanish or European law.

Ending

You can stop using Afinar whenever you like. We can end or change the beta, including a free beta year, if we have to stop offering Afinar or if someone uses it to break the law or harm others. If we ever end your access, everything you made stays on your Mac and stays yours.

Changes to these terms

We’ll post any change on this page with the date it takes effect. A change that affects a paid plan won’t apply to a year you’ve already paid for.

Which law

Spanish law applies, and the courts of Valencia. If you’re a consumer in the European Union, you keep your right to bring a case where you live.
